i’ve been using a tip
renee r., mom of two boys,
shared with me
specifically in talking
with boys:
instead of asking the boys,
‘how was your day?’
asking them,
‘rate your day on
a scale of 1 to 5 -
1 is not good,
5 is really good.’
and then following up with,
‘why that score?’
i’ve loved the answers i’ve
been getting;
what was funny &
what was frustrating
about their days @ school.
thanks, r

our dear friends the hubbards do a similar thing… they call it high/low and identify those points in their days. I love any version of the idea and was glad for your reminder…started with meredith last night (although we did happy/sad) (:
love you
