the cheap & the expensive
umbrellas
indiscriminately,
so save your ‘good’ one,
in my opinion.

all we could do at
school pick-up was
laugh.

it was raining that hard
and
parents, teachers, students + siblings alike
were
drenched.

we live across the
street from the school +
we were drenched.
(even in our raincoats)

so we’re warming up,
turning on
‘alvin & the chipmunks,’
for early familymovienight
(sorry, cory;
we just can’t wait, man.)
