brit gave us these cool
lightlight pink sheets & pillowcases
and i’ve loved using
them in our bedroom
in happy rotation with
our usual
black & white polkadot ones

so, anytime betsy sees
pink
pillowcases
in our room,
she evidently assumes i’ve
mislaid them.

since as everybody knows, dahling,
pink
is only for
girls.

so all of the pink pillows
that make me so happy
(come on, it’s not like i’m
overwhelming
cory
with pink;
2 of the 6 pillows on our bed
have the pink cases,
and it’s the lightest prettiest
whitewashiest pink possible)
are
gone.

permanently
relegated to the
‘princess suite,’
as grandpa dick christened the girls room.
