on ingenuity

1 . February . 2011

the driving corridor of the streets
is narrowing due to the
heaps + piles of beautiful snow.

especially on the kramers’ street
with a row of parked cars
on either side.

so after a big garbage truck snowplow
came to a halt with mere inches on
each side of his plow,

after trying for several minutes with
volunteers on each side,
‘come this way!’
‘to the right, to the right!’

the driver opened his cab door
and announced,

‘i’m gonna need some volunteers;
we’re gonna move this car!’

and move it they did.

ONLY in NYC!!! What a picture!

  2. Grandma Gospel Says:

As they say, ‘there’s more than one way to skin a cat’
or an alternative English version – “there are more ways of killing a cat than choking it with cream”!
