come

5 . December . 2011

come to earth to taste our saddness,
he whose glories knew no end;
by his life he brings us gladness,
our Redeemer, Shepherd, Friend.

leaving riches without number
born within a cattle stall;
this the everlasting wonder,
Christ was born the Lord of all.

here’s what i know:
cory. is. spectacular.

his perseverance,
faithfulness,
good humour,
calculation-and-execution-ability &
his willingness to work from
dawn until dusk (and later)
to build us this
home.

my heart overflows with
love and gratitude, cjc.

and

massivethanks to
carrie
nate
meg
[wicked cutting, em!]
for their help this wknd.

carrie’s enthusiasm & perseverance
fueled friday night’s painting-palooza;
i realized last week i had chosen
the wrong shade,
a tinge of purple!
i didn’t catch that in the
swatch,
so she helped me with
a massive do-over.

sp.len.did. it is.

our grey-paint-exuberance
may have spilled over
into the food pantry;
brilliant.
